Mercedes-Benz is a German automobile manufacturer with its headquarters located in Stuttgart. The company traces its history back to 1886 after Karl Benz made the “Benz Patent Motorwagen,” the first automobile with an internal combustion engine. The automobile was first marketed in 1901 by DMG (Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft). Mercezed-Benz AG is now a subsidiary of Daimler AG. The three-pointed star logo, which was trademarked by Daimler, symbolizes DMG’s philosophy of universal motorization on land, water, and air. At present, it produces a range of luxury and commercial vehicles, like sedans, hatchbacks, SUVs, electric cars, buses, trucks, vans, limousines, as well as sports cars, including Formula One, Formula E, Formula Three, and GT3.
